On Wednesday 22nd May, we had a special visitor in school. Martha Harris plays for Birmingham City in the FA Women's Championship. She has represented England at Under 19s, Under 20s and Under 23.
In assembly Martha taught the children the importance of being healthy with your choices and getting enough rest and sleep. The children were really inspired by Martha's story and how hard she had worked to reach her goals. The children were then set the challenge of completing as many Spotty Dogs, Leg Drives, Press-Ups and Star Jumps as they can in 60 seconds. Our children were sponsored for this event and we raised an astonishing £1151 for new equipment to be used on the playground.
